Questions, answered

Do I need a paid Notion account?

No. Legal OS duplicates into any Notion workspace, and a free personal account is all it needs.

How do I get it after I buy?

Two emails arrive within a few minutes of checkout: your order confirmation, and a download email with the Notion duplicate link and your access-and-licence PDF. Open the link, choose Duplicate, and the whole system copies into your workspace.

What happens when Legal OS is updated?

Every future edition is included in your purchase under our lifetime updates policy. Updates are announced by email to the address you used at checkout, and the duplicate link always gives you the current edition.

Can I share it with chambers or colleagues?

Your purchase is a personal, single-user licence for your own workspace. You can adapt it as much as you like for your own practice or study, but please do not share the duplicate link or redistribute the template. For a chambers or team licence, email support@blessingatthebar.com.

Is it only for barristers?

It was built by a barrister for the Bar, so hearings, instructing solicitors and fee status are built in from the start, not bolted on. Solicitors and law students use it too: the task types cover drafting, advice, coursework, moots and exam prep, and every database can be renamed or extended in Notion.
